I've read that my dear friend Kareltje has problems because of the high temperatures. It's so hot that he even wants to take a shower; now, that's really a problem for a cat!!
I didn't know The Netherlands may have such hot summers. In fact, when I say "The Netherlands", in my mind occur:
1) ...low-lying country, below sea level; possible floods; water! Cats, save your souls!
2) Cheese! That's wonderful!
3) Tulips... romantic!
4) Windmills... adventure!
5) Van Gogh... always my favourite!
6) Rembrandt... maestro!
So, my dear friend, don't be sad!
In my country we have 38-39 degrees and nothing seems unusual!
